Hair Design and Plan
No hair transplant at The Hair Center of Nebraska occurs without careful planning and design of each patient’s new hair profile. We believe in investing an ample amount of time in creating the custom design of every hairline and planning the distribution of each follicle to ensure the most desirable outcome. We want everyone to feel secure and excited about what they are about to embark on.
Procedure Day
Dr. Gross believes that comfort is key to a successful experience—that’s why he encourages each patient to do what they can to be at ease throughout the process – including using their cell phone, listening to music or podcasts with earbuds, or even taking a nap. In addition, we will provide food and beverages from local restaurants, as well as snacks throughout the day.
When it’s time for the procedure, local anesthesia will be used to minimize discomfort. The hair extraction and implantation process using the ARTAS® system then takes place in phases while you relax. The total time of the procedure varies from person to person depending on factors such as the number of hair follicles being transplanted.
Post-op Procedure
Once the procedure is complete, Dr. Gross will sit down and speak with you to provide post-op hair care instructions and to answer any questions.
A big believer in communication, Dr. Gross and The Hair Center of Nebraska will continue to stay in touch with you long after the procedure is complete. We offer ongoing support for your hair transplant procedure with optional in-person follow-ups at 4, 8, and 12 months. During these follow-up appointments, we offer complimentary treatments that continue to nurture and support the best possible outcome of your transplant.
