Clinical Care – Laser Therapy
There are three commonly used non-surgical or “medical” options you may want to consider. Early, when your hair starts to thin, one or all may work to stimulate follicles that are diminished in size. The hope is that these smaller, weaker follicles will strengthen to provide better-quality hairs with longer growth cycles.
Minoxidil
Our topical solution uses an easy spray pump which allows for more targeted application. This ensures that more of the formula actually reaches the scalp for higher absorption. It is also a cleaner method of application that dries more quickly compared to foams. The applicator also allows your hands to stay clean.

Low-Level Laser Therapy
Low-level laser therapy is an option that has been used for those who are suffering from male & female pattern hair loss. Laser red light has been shown to be effective in stimulating and energizing the cells within the hair follicle.
LLLT, a form of phototherapy, is a non-surgical treatment option for the stabilization of hair loss. Clinical studies demonstrate that LLLT halts the progression of hair loss, stimulates hair growth, restyling in thicker, stronger hair shafts, and promotes re-growth in many. It is an important part of medical therapy for patients who are not candidates for surgical hair restoration procedures, or for men or women with global thinning or hair loss. LLLT can be used alongside topical solutions, prescription medications, and even hair transplants. Dr. Gross recommends this therapy to all his patients for the additional stimulation after a hair surgery as a way to provide maintenance to the transplanted hair, to strengthen and help speed up the re-growth of transplanted follicles.
When it comes to temporary or permanent treatments, it is imperative to keep your expectations realistic. LLLT is not a cure for baldness and will only work as long as it is used according to instructions during the treatment period. Once laser therapy stops, so does the reality of stopping the further progression of hair loss. It is important to keep in mind that LLLT will be most effective in persons with minimal to moderate hair loss, and less effective with major hair loss. With any hair growth treatment, it is normal for users to have an initial period of hair shedding before they can begin to see any results.
